Teenage suicide we can change the way young girls think.

Discovering the landscape of love and relationships can be a crushing experience for the spirit of a maturing young women.  While the passage from child to adult can be beautiful, for some women it can be emotional and difficult.  Knowing a few snippets of wisdom of older women in those days can be invaluable.  This is my letter 20 years later to myself of the things I wished I had known.
Dear sweet sixteen,
Right now you are crying frantically about him and how you would be together forever.  Girl, you are young and he is not the only boy for you! I know he has just crushed your heart and you thought he was meant to be in your life forever.  Your innocence is being exposed but it is going to be ok.  He will end up being just the boy you decided to lose your virginity to and after you did he walked away.
20 years from now he wont mean that much.  He sadly wont be the only boy that walks away and in fact you will walk away from a couple of boys that are more into you than you are into them.  They will be as devastated as you are now.
Now is not the time to cry, now is the time to celebrate yourself as a beautiful, strong and capable young women.  Get out in the world and discover all its wonders.  Take up surfing or horse riding.  Not feeling so athletic, no problem learn to paint beautiful watercolor landscapes or computer coding (the world needs more female computer stars!).
Surround yourself with other women and enjoy the beauty that is life.  Take picnics in the park or spend a day at the beach.  Yes it hurts when a relationship ends.  Its a good thing to feel love and it is hard to feel its rejection.  Just view it as a time to explore life not as a time to be crushed.  Make new plans, new dreams.  As one chapter closes another opens and new adventures await.
Growing into a confident and strong women can unfortunately be a bumpy rite of passage.  Movies, magazines, books and television shows bombard you with signs that unless you are in a relationship you are incomplete.  Unfortunately a number of young women, just like you feel that you need to be dating someone so that you are happy.  Dont fall into the trap of incompatible relationships and when the relationship inevitably breaks down thinking that dating the next guy by the end of the week, despite crying to all their friends that he was the love of her life, will fix your loneliness.
To be blunt sweet girl - a man will never make you happy within yourself.  Happiness is an inside job and whilst a strong, loving relationship is wonderful if youre unhappy single, any happiness in a relationship will be short lived.  During the delicate phase of growing from a teenager into a women relationships can be overwhelming and the collapse of one can feel like the world is ending.
Each woman, including you, has the power within themselves to be independent and happy.  You are worth being unbelievably happy.  You are remarkable, unique and stunning! Enjoy being you! Walk tall and with confidence for you are loved by more than just that boy.
                                                                                                Love your older wiser self!

Animal Waste Cleaning Services Norfolk, Williamsburg, Portsmouth, Virginia Beach, VA

Do you have a pet contamination problem and need clean up?

The landlord called us and sounded upset. He had animal control at his rental house and they had already removed seven cats. His tenants were not to have any pets according to the lease. When we pulled up at the house the owner was waiting for us. I need a estimate for removal of Urine soaked carpet he asks. Aftercare does many Cleanups each year dealing with animal waste contamination issues. The ammonia smell was overwhelming you could smell it from outside. Do you have any masks he asked? Sure no problem as we put on our yellow tyvek protection suits. The two story home is large ; as we enter we see huge piles of trash littered across the floors. The urine smell makes it's way through my mask. My nose runs as i can do nothing but deal with it. Feces paints the carpet wall to wall like a giant chocolate smear. Its very clear animals have had there way with this residence. I look down at my shoes i notice they are black what is that grease? As I move my hand down to check; nope not grease, Fleas ! The house is infested with fleas. I hate fleas they stowaway on you making their way back to your vehicle. They to are trying to escape the horrible conditions of this house. I just don't want them to find their way into my house. We make our way deeper into the home. As we walk you can see the carpets are soaked as if there was a flood in the house but this is not water it is urine. Squish, squish with every step. As I turn around to talk with the landlord I noticed he ran back out the front door. To much for some folks; not us. We can do this! My guys are ready to start now. I head back outside to talk to our client; OK here's what needs to be done. Aftercare will bring in 4 technicians; we will provide all safety equipment to complete the entire job. We will drop a 40 cubic dumpster and remove all trash throughout the house. All carpet and pad will be removed and disposed of. All toilets and vanities will be removed and thrown away due to the contamination. Next we will scrub all hard surfaces down with a hospital strength disinfectant. After we sanitize we will go back with an odor enzyme in the form of a fog; this will reach all areas of the house. The floors will need to be sealed and all walls painted with sealer. This should end the problem. The landlord asks when can you start?
Aftercare works with landlords, property managers, business owners and Realtors every month. Together we always come up with a plan to return the worst damage back to a livable condition. Do you need a extreme cleaning due to animal feces?  Call Aftercare, we can help!                                                      (757) 535-4367
